A little over one year ago, when it became clear to everyone watching state Senator Wendy Davis' filibuster that the Republicans in the Texas Senate were making up rules in order to force through Senate Bill 5, state Senator Leticia Van de Putte's line (above) launched the gallery protests that ultimately prevented the Texas GOP from being able to pass their draconian anti-choice bill during that legislative session.
